Easy summer makeup look (using mostly drugstore)

Hi all,

As I promised yesterday, I’m sharing another easy summer look using mostly drugstore products. The only non-drugstore here would be the Makeup Geek Eyeliner and Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof mascara…

I was inspired by Chanel’s spring 2016 campaign for this look, which I thought was more appropriate for summer. But I’m not recreating the same look, just took an inspiration for the colour combo here 🙂

Key products used:

  1. L’Oreal Lumi Magique Primer (Love this primer for a beautiful subtle glow. Great for dry skin)
  2. Maybelline Super Stay Foundation (I mixed this with the primer above for a dewy finish)
  3. L.A. Girl Pro Concealer in Creamy Beige (You need to blend this super fast because it dries really quickly. Recommend you to do one eye area at a time. This is super dry for me so I didn’t set it with powder)
  4. Rimmel Sun Shimmer Bronzer in 001 (Love this bronzer because its so subtle. This shade is too light for medium skin, though. I used the medium shade here all over the lid on top of the primer below)
  5. L.A. Girl Velvet Blush Stick in Crushed Berry   (Applied and smudged with fingers)
  6. ELF Lid Primer (Favourite drugstore eye primer!)
  7. BH Cosmetics Flawless Brow Trio in Medium (Used the middle shade to fill any gaps and sparse areas for a full, thick brows)
  8. Flormar Liquid Liner in Sapphire Blue
  9. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (waterproof)
  10. Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eyeliner in Orchid (Make sure you put mascara on the bottom lash line when you apply this type of purple shades to avoid looking like you have red eye 😉 )
  11. Flormar Lip Liner in 232 (These lip liners are so good!)
  12. Revlon lipstick in Love That Red (A great dupe for YSL Le Rouge lipstick. Super intense in colour and lasts a long time!)

I hope you like this look! I’ll see you soon with more looks for summer!
