Today I’m sharing my favourite winter blush ATM, and it’s L.A. Girl Velvet Blush Stick in “Crushed Berry”
I received this blush in the VIP goody bag at DressYourFace seminar in Dubai. I was hoping to get a deep colour like this, and I was over the moon when I got Crushed Berry as it is the deepest colour they have in this new launch of Velvet Contour Sticks…
I have medium skin tone (NC35-NC41) and one would think this blush is too deep for me. But it blends really well into a beautiful flush on your cheeks. Even if you have fair skin, you can still work it out by sheering it with a stippling brush or a mini buffer brush.

The consistency is: Very smooth and not too creamy. It’s more like a slightly thick lip balm. Make sure you blend it as soon as you apply on the skin, as this blush stays put after a while.
Wearing time is: Very good. This is why I love this blush so much because on me it lasted about 5-6 hours. You know that blushes are the first thing that fades away out of all the products you put on your face, so it’s great to have something like this that stay a lot longer without having to retouch.
I love using my Juvia’s J107 Mini Stippler to sheer it out on my face. (Another great brush set I got from DYF masterclass goody bag)
I love how natural it looks despite colour being quite deep. It’s literally a beautiful berry shade that is so appropriate for cold weather. The staying power is another reason why it’s my favourite blush at the moment. I might go ahead and buy a few other blush colours from this range.
