Hola!
It’s been a while since I typed something in this space… but with my wedding coming up and collaborating with so many brands and people have given me less time to work on my blog… honestly, the pile of products I’ve been sent & bought to review is getting higher by the day… I’ve listed down the reviews I’m planning to do this month:
- ABH lip palette vol 1
- Huda Beauty Solstice collection
- Juvia’s Place Saharan Blush Vol 2
- Juvia’s Place Masquerade palette
- Juvia’s Place Nubian 1 palette
- The Face Shop Pomegranate Mask
- Basicare base application tools
- Airport buys: Benefit Dalalid’s Brow Magic kit
- Zoeva Rose Gold Brush kit
This week I’m talking about Morphe x Jaclyn Hill collaboration & ABH lip palette for you…
Honestly I’m not a huge Morphe eyeshadow fan, but I love their brushes because they’re so affordable and come with good quality. This palette, however was an exception. It sold out within an hour and I’m so happy I got my hands on it through all that hassle on the site.
I feel like this palette has almost all the shadows I want in my life (except for a hot pink & a true gold) it has 99% warm shadows with majority being Matte and the shimmers being very much like MUG foiled (but better) formula.
Price: US$ 38.00
Any duds in the palette: Nope. Not a single dud. All shadows perform really well with both fingers and brushes. I love using a bit a of MAC Fix Plus before applying the shimmers, but it’s not essential TBH. The shadows alone work perfect on the lid (as well as on arm swatches)
Nisha and I did two looks using only the shadows from this palette. Our looks are completely different so you can see how versatile this palette can be.
I wish it came with a mirror though. The packaging is very simple and feel a bit cheap, but I don’t really care about that. I love all the shadows in here and they’re so worth for the money.
Is it worth the hype? Yes! Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, you can always work around this palette for any look you want!
Hope this review helps you!
See you soon
