Today’s post is on 3 new lipsticks shades I received in a sample card with my Fenty Beauty purchase last month. Fenty Beauty went on 30% off last month, and I restocked some of my favorite items from them. As a part of a 4-piece gift, they sent me a sample card of the new Icon refillable lipsticks in 3 shades:
The three shades I received are very wearable shades that would flatter any undertone. My favorite is Scholar Sista, a warm pink with a hint of nude. Pose Queen is a gorgeous warm, yellow-toned nude with a hint of pink. The MVP is very similar to their Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored. It’s a raspberry red with a blue undertone.
The formula: Is very lightweight, almost like a whipped one with extremely good colour payoff. It glides on effortlessly and sets into a semi-matte finish. It’s also very comfortable on the lips. It stays for about 4-5 hours with eating and drinking, which is a good performance for a bullet lipstick.
I won’t be buying the full size immediately, but as soon as I finish another lipstick from my collection, I will purchase both Scholar Sista and Pose Queen. I love that these are refillable so I can buy one case and two shades in the refills.
