Happy Easter everyone!
Today I’m doing a mini review on a “new-to-me” Chanel product: Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Stick in no 24.
Chanel makeup is relatively new to me, since I got to try some of their products only last year and needless to say I’m now addicted to this brand!
My favorite line from Chanel is Les Beiges, which is mainly targeted to achieve a natural, healthy glowing makeup look that’s perfect for summertime. I think Les Beiges is good for someone living in a hot and humid place like Sri Lanka! I wish it was easier to get these products down though! We don’t have many international makeup brands readily available here. (Which is why I couldn’t try a lot of Chanel makeup before)
The packaging screams classic luxury. I love how minimal and sleek it is, and I can easily put this in my smallest handbag for a touchup.
The colour I picked up is no 24, a peachy blush with golden micro shimmers that aren’t very noticeable on the face once you blend well. The colour is very sheer but easily buildable. On a very hot and humid day in Colombo, this one last on my cheeks for about 5-6 hours (including some time with mask on)
In the pictures above you can see the subtle enhancements this blush gives to my face. It makes me look very sun-kissed, and I love it! I’m excited to try a pinky shade next time.
In the swatches below you can see how the shimmers go undetected once you blend it. They give a nice subtle glow with a sheer wash of colour:
If you love a peachy glowing blush, you can check out this one at your nearest Chanel counter. My skin-tone is BD41 (Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation) and Medium Plus (Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer) for your reference.
I have a few more Chanel goodies to review here so stay tuned!
Thank you for stopping by my space. Hope you have a blessed Easter!
