Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette: Stoned Rose Beauty

Hey lovelies,

A couple of days back I received my first Instant Look In A Palette from Charlotte Tilbury: Stoned Rose Beauty palette. This was launched during the holidays, and even though I saw it in person at the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Wonderland in London, it didn’t really appeal to me until one of my makeup class students bought a different (but very similar- the Glowing Beauty palette) Instant palette from CT. She used it for her class and I was instantly drawn to the palette so I immediately placed an order for the newer version: The Stoned Rose Beauty.

I love the Stoned Rose lipstick and this palette goes so well (as intended) with it.

Packaging: The outside packaging is of a stunning roses print, and I really wish it was on the actual palette itself too. Instead, the actual palette is in the regular burgundy shade with rose gold accents. Inside you get a full size mirror. The palette feels sturdy and compact, and is definitely a travel must-have if you’re a Tilbury fan.

Inside you get 7 different powders for eyes and cheeks. The application has been super simplified for someone who does their makeup on-the-go (like me, most of the time since of late)

There are no fall outs from the eyeshadows. They pair really well with the Stoned Rose Lipstick. The two blush shades are so pretty and I think they’ll look good on most skin tones. The bronzer is lighter than the one in the medium to dark bronze & glow palette. The highlighter doesn’t look powdery at all once applied on the cheeks. Everything blends beautifully and you end up with a dreamy glowing makeup look.

This palette is pricey, but compared to other full face makeup palettes in the market, this seems to be the most wearable one. I’ll be keeping this in my handbag for sure!

I’ll be doing the new Pillow Talk collection review pretty soon so stay tuned to that!

Xx

  1. That palette is totally beautiful…I love a great visually pleasing palette and it looks like it has some weight to it. My have to make my first big CT purchase.
