KKW Beauty x Mario bundle review

Today’s review is on one of my favourite purchases this year (I’m getting good at buying stuff, now that I don’t buy impulsively like before!) I did a LOT of research before splurging on this bundle (released a few months back) and I’ve used them on me for about 2 weeks now so I can give you my thoughts today 🙂

I love KKW Beauty as a brand. I have the Powder Contour & Highlight kit and their collaboration with Kylie Cosmetics. I love everything I own from KKW Beauty.

This collaboration between Kim Kardashian West and Mario Dedivanovic has got to be my favourite out of all KKW products I own. At first I wasn’t too sure about the whole thing, because to me, Kim is all about nudes and this palette didn’t look very Kim Kardashian West to me. But the more I looked into reviews, the more I felt like it’s the perfect KKW palette with a fun twist from Mario. All shadows are extremely wearable and suits all skin tones. This palette instantly became my go-to eyeshadow palette, and we’ll talk about the lip products in a short while!

The bundle includes:

  • A 10 pan eyeshadow palette
  • 2 lipglosses (Juicy & Super Nude)
  • 1 lipstick (Classic K)
  • Price: US$ 85.00 for the bundle
  • Overall packaging: I honestly wish the packaging was a bit better. Don’t get me wrong. I love minimalism, and I love the whole vibe that Kim is going through right now. I also love the nudes and neutrals in her branding, but you could be a bit more exciting and still be minimalistic in packaging, right? I mean, look at Fenty Beauty packaging; sleek and minimal yet expensive looking. You can hardly see the KKW x Mario branding on the eyeshadow palette, and the lipsticks have no branding at all! I really hope Kim would upgrade the packaging game. However, it’s honestly the product quality that matters…
  • The eyeshadow palette

  • The star of the bundle is no doubt the eyeshadow palette. There are 5 shimmers and 5 mattes. All shadows have excellent pigmentation and no fall-outs! The colours are so beautiful and versatile.
  • I love every single colour in this palette. They’re so easy to work with (both brushes and finger tips) the shimmer shades 2008, Armenian, Glam, Bronzy, Vegas and Libra are stunning. The mattes really compliment the shimmers and this is one palette that everyone needs in their lives!
  • Classic K lipstick

  • Moving on to the lip products, can I say this is the BEST-EST nude lipstick ever???? I’m not joking. I’ve been collecting nude lipsticks all my life and most of the time they end up looking either too brown or two pink. Classic K is the perfect balance of both. It’s a true nude on the lips. I’m obsessed and I’m planning to buy 2-3 back ups!
  • Lip glosses: Super Nude & Juicy

  • I’m not a big lip gloss fan, simply because of the tackiness of glosses. It’s hard to find a good lip gloss these days, but look no further… both glosses from KKW x Mario collab are so comfortable and wearable. They’re not tacky and the shade Juicy is a gorgeous peachy shade that is very opaque in one swipe. Super Nude is literally super nude, and I love to dab a tiny bit on the center of my lips to make it look fuller.
  • I love both lip glosses.
  • Overall thoughts: Love, Love, Love! I really hope Kim wouldn’t discontinue these products. I feel like buying back-ups for all. The bundle is a good deal, but if you can only buy one or two items, do get the eyeshadow palette and Classic K lipstick.
  • Thank you for stopping by
  • Have a lovely weekend!
