Guess what, I got the Fenty Beauty Moroccan Spice palette before it got sold out or the hype died out! Usually I get these new launches quite late, but I was lucky that one of the Instagram pages that bring down makeup to Sri Lanka had this one left in stock… just in time!
This is my second Fenty Beauty product. When Fenty was first launched, it didn’t really call my name, and I don’t know why! Then I bought the Gloss Bomb a few months ago and immediately fell in love with it!
Honestly I wasn’t going to buy this palette at first, but I saw it at my friend Nisha’s and thought it to be a good one to keep in my kit. Let’s see if I made the right choice!
But first, packaging: Packaging is similar to their last palette “Galaxy”. It’s hard, glossy plastic (attracts a lot of fingerprint) and inside you get a nice full size mirror. I actually like when palettes come with a mirror. I feel like it completes the whole product. Just my opinion.
The finishes: There are 8 mattes and 8 shimmers. 7 cool tone shades and 9 warm tone shades make a really nice balance overall. The shimmers are stunning, particularly the shades Casablanca & Marrakkush. Mirage and Sahara Stunna are more like toppers to me. The shade Evil Genie is the star out of all. All shimmers work beautifully with both fingertips and brushes.
Price: US$ 49.00
You can see how beautiful Evil Genie is in the picture below:
Overall thoughts: I love it! I think it’s worth the hype! I tried them with and without primer and all shadows work well even without primer. They wore well over 8 hours on me. If you love Fenty Beauty, this is a must-have!
I’m getting a whole bunch of Fenty Beauty tomorrow so I hope to finally test their foundation and give you my feedback!
See you soon!
