Q: Do you scrub your face, body & hair?
A: Yes, I do… wait, hair? No I haven’t scrubbed my hair 🤨 Is there even a thing such as hair scrub? 🧐🧐
This would’ve been my answer if someone asked me about hair scrub a while back. I didn’t even bother to google “hair scrub” before I got invited for The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Hair Scrub launch!
Well, there are other hair scrubs out there it seems, but let me try The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Hair Scrub first, okay?
Fuji Green Tea Hair Scrub
This sea-salt formula is made for oily scalps (because scalp is skin too!) to get rid of hair products (spray, serums, oils) and buildups of dust and natural oils we all have stocked up on our heads! While the shampoo usually does the cleaning, a scrub will not only clean, but stimulate the blood floor on your scalp too.
Local price: LKR 5400.00
I’ve been using this for about 2 months now, once every week. This can be alternated with a shampoo and follow up by conditioner as usual. Every time I use this scrub, my hair feels the most cleanest and the softest! This is an amazing product to add to your hair care routine! You need very little product for your entire scalp.
Highly recommend this Hair Scrub for anyone with normal to oily hair.
Olive Body Scrub
Made with community trade organic olive oil from Italy, this exfoliates the body leaving it smooth and silky. It has a mild scent of olives.
Price: LKR 3150.00
This is a good, affordable body scrub for all skin types. Use it once or twice a week.
Tea Tree 3-in-1 wash scrub mask
This is a star face scrub in my skincare regime! I’ve been using this for about a year now and I’m hooked!
Price: LKR 3400.00This is perfect for oily, acne-prone or blemished skin, I have somewhat dry skin, but whenever I feel like I’m gonna get a zit, I use this followed by the Tea Tree Oil Serum, and the next day, my skin looks smooth and calm.
So those are my 3 favorite scrubs from The Body Shop! What are yours?
Happy Monday btw,
