I got two deluxe sizes of this mascara from my Dubai makeup masterclass last year December in the goody bags (one from the masterclass goody bag, and the other from a Givenchy-meet-and-greet goody bag) so first of all I must thank Givenchy Middle-East team for their generous gifts! I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews on this mascara, so this was a great chance for me to try them for free!!!

The full size mascara is priced at: US$ 33.00 on Sephora (0.28 oz/8ml)

Noir Couture is a 4-in-1 mascara that curls, gives volume, lash care and adds length to your lashes. I’m not sure about lash care, but it definitely curls, lengthens and adds volume as per my experience for 3 months. With this mascara, you really don’t need a lash curler, because I tried one eye without pre-curling and there was absolutely no difference with or without pre-curling. So it saves a few seconds of time from your makeup routine 🙂

I’m not sure if this is waterproof, but once applied, it stays put without budging and still comes off easily with makeup remover. The results are pretty similar to MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Lash mascara with no mess when I tried to take this off.

I honestly love how my lashes look with this mascara. It keeps the curl throughout the day and you can easily separate your lashes too.

The packaging is: So luxurious and beautiful. It’s the signature black studded container with the logo engraved on the top of the lid. The brush is quite unique in my opinion, but the round tip makes it easier to apply mascara on your bottom lashes.

The only down side is the price. You know you can use a mascara only for 3 months so US$ 33.00 is quite high to dispose in such a short time. But if you love high-end makeup and don’t mind the splurging, I recommend you to give this one a go. I would actually repurchase if I get into that splurging mood, but till then I would go for the waterproof version of the MAC mascara I mentioned above. That’s my personal choice only because of the high price tag. However, it’s one of the best mascaras that stays true to the name!
