Hi all!

Looks like 90s fashion and beauty trends have made a major come back, right? I’m seeing almost every YouTuber wearing a choker these days with a different brown colour lip, and makeup companies also create more and more brown lip shades so I decided to do a simple and easy beauty look inspired by the 90s. I believe this is a look anyone can pull off if you pick the right shades for you 🙂 It’s so easy and not cake-y at all, and I think it’s very girl-next-door-ish 😀

Key products used here to make it look 90s:

• Colour Pop Cosmetics Ultra Matte Lipstick in Beeper (a warm mid-tone taupe that is ideal for this look)

I used my everyday base routine, which includes daily moisturiser, foundation, concealer and I kept the face makeup as light as possible. There wasn’t much contouring happening in the 90s, in fact, the faces were a few tones lighter on most celebrities. I didn’t do that because, I don’t think anyone wants that ghostly face these days! I usually fill my brows heavily because I love thick brows, but thin brows were so in in the 90s, so I filled them as lightly as possible. To give a little bit of definition to my face, I used NARS bronzer in Casino (my favourite!) and MAC Modest Blush.

• Blue eyeshadow
• Frosty lipstick (the modern version is metallic liquid lipsticks)
• The 90s grunge look (deep berry/black lip gloss)
• The Rachel (Haircut)
• Double Barrettes
• Flower Clips
