Something I realised while doing “A week with Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar” is that you can never overdo your eye makeup with this palette. True, I was not trying anything too dramatic because I wanted it to be a very practical trial that I did on every day morning before I would go to work, so it had to be work appropriate. Today is the last day of such looks, I promise…
Today I’m craving some truffle & caramel mousse topped with coconut cream… Mouthwatering, isn’t it?
First Step: Is priming the lid as always… This way your eyeshadow will show better, and it’ll last longer without creasing.
Second Step: Apply Caramel all over the lid with a flat, stiff brush.
Third Step: Take some Truffled on to a soft dome brush and apply it lightly on the crease, concentrating more on the outer corner. This colour IS dark, so be gentle with your strokes 🙂
Fourth Step: Truffled appears to be too dark for day-time, so I applied some Mousse on top of it to soften the crease. Use the same dome brush and blend well until you see the desired softness.
Fifth Step: Is to highlight the brow bone. Take Coconut Cream and apply it on the brow bone, blending well on to Mousse so all colours are blended seamlessly.
(Other Key Products: For lips I mixed MAC’s Sin with MAC’s Kinda Sexy for a dusty rose look. My go-to mascara these days is BareMinerals Lash Domination mascara. Contouring and Highlighting was done by Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit- Light)
Tomorrow I want to include some Blueberry Swirl and Licorice in my dessert…
See you tomorrow!
